Community Involvement

Taisei and its employees have a long history of community involvement, benefiting many different organizations and people. We want to remember that the people in the communities may not have the same opportunities to achieve their dreams. As a company of caring individuals, we strive to support these communities and experience the satisfaction of giving something back.

Some of the events that we have been fortunate to be a part of are:

2008 Climb California Event - Genentech & American Lung Association of California

Sean Anderson – 2008 Top Individual fundraiser

TEAM TAISEI – 2008 2nd Largest Team Fundraiser (Behind Genentech)
Total Raised in 2008 - $34,330

Team Taisei took part in this challenging event that benefited the American Lung Association. In the process, we became a determined team, pushing to the top. The event, held yearly in late March, raises money for research, education and support for the American Lung Association’s many endeavors.

Team Taisei set an initial goal of $30,000 and began fundraising through appeals to individuals and corporate sponsors. With overwhelming response, our donors helped us exceed our goal. The effort culminated with the Run in San Francisco at the old Bank of America building, with the team climbing 1,197 stairs to the 52nd floor.

Taisei thanks all the dedicated team members who participated and the individual and corporate sponsors for their generous donations to this cause!
